What is the best time to have 3D/4D Ultrasound?
Any time is good for you to see the image of your baby. You can see different stages of your baby’s development. We recommend you to have 3D/4D Ultrasound between 22 and 34 weeks due to the fact that at this time the face of your baby looks the way it will at birth. You may have several sessions during your pregnancy which will give you an opportunity to watch your baby grow and develop.

What affects the quality of pictures?
Would I be able to get good pictures of the face at every visit? We are using the Ultrasound system with the best resolution. Our technologists are highly trained to perform 3D/4D Ultrasound. There are some other factors that affect the quality of the pictures
  • Fetal position – the way your baby is located in the womb. It may be difficult to obtain images of the face if the baby is constantly looking down, or the face is covered by placenta, uterine wall or your baby’s hands or feet.
  • Maternal body Features – sometimes ultrasounds waves are unable to penetrate through the abdominal tissue which causes poor image quality. We recommend for heavyset others to have 3D/4D Ultrasound after 24 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Fetal Activity – it is very difficult to obtain high quality images while the baby is in constant motion.
Regardless of the situation, you will enjoy the time with your baby. We, on our part, will do our very best to deliver the best results to you. If your Baby is not well positioned, or you’re not satisfied with our pictures, we’ll happily reschedule your visit at no charge!
